I look after the computers, email, backups, and security for Toronto companies with 3 to 50 staff. You get one person who knows your setup and answers when you call, not a ticket number and a call centre.

The health check is a 30-minute call. I'll look at what you have, flag anything risky, and tell you honestly whether you need ongoing help or not.

What I do

Four things, done properly

Managed IT

A flat monthly rate per person. Covers helpdesk, monitoring, patching, endpoint security, and documentation, so small problems get caught before they become outages. This is most of my work.

On-call support

Hourly help when something breaks, remote or on-site in Toronto. No contract needed. A lot of managed clients started this way.

Security basics

Password managers, two-factor authentication, endpoint protection, and tested backups. The unglamorous essentials that most small businesses skip until something goes wrong.

Cloud & email

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or open-source alternatives if you'd rather own your data. Setup, migration, and ongoing management.

How working together goes

  1. Health check

    A free 30-minute call. I ask about your setup, your staff, and what's been going wrong. No preparation needed on your end.

  2. Written proposal

    Within a couple of days you get a one-page scope of work: what's covered, what it costs, and what isn't included. No estimate ranges, no fine print surprises.

  3. Plain-English agreement

    A short service agreement written to be read, not skimmed. Managed plans run on a 12-month term with per-user pricing.

  4. Onboarding

    I install the monitoring agent, document your environment, sort out passwords and backups, and you're covered from there.

Fit

Is this for you?

Probably, if you have between 3 and 50 staff, no in-house IT person, and you're tired of either fixing things yourself or waiting days for a big provider to call back.

Probably not, if you need 24/7 coverage across multiple time zones or a helpdesk team of ten. I'm one person, and I'd rather tell you that up front than overpromise. If your needs outgrow me, I'll say so and help you find the right fit.
